Phase 1: Core App
The full foundation is built and live — matching, adoption, fostering, shelters, lost & found, health & care suite, social feed, and push notifications.
- Playdate Matching— Swipe-based proximity matching to find compatible playdate partners, filtered by breed, size, temperament, and purpose (walk, playdate, mating, adoption).
- Adoption Platform— Post and browse pets for adoption with photos, breed filters, and in-app adoption requests.
- Fostering Platform— Open your home temporarily — browse foster listings and submit foster requests directly in the app.
- Shelters Directory— Browse verified shelters and rescues near you. Shelters have their own login and dashboard to list pets and manage admission requests.
- Lost & Found Alerts— Hyper-local push alerts for missing pets — report lost or found animals with photo, description, and GPS radius notifications.
- Daily Care Tracker— One-tap logging for fed, watered, and poop — with a daily progress bar and full care history.
- Care Reminders— Recurring push reminders for walks, feeding, medication, vaccinations, vet appointments, and custom care tasks.
- Weight Tracker— Log your pet's weight over time and see the trend. Includes target weight ranges and shareable history for vet visits.
- Health Records— Upload and store vaccination certificates, vet visit summaries, medication logs, and lab reports — all in one digital health wallet.
- Flea & Tick Tracker— Log flea and tick treatment dates, track the product used, and set reminders for the next dose.
- Heat Cycle Tracker— Track heat cycles for female pets — log cycle dates, view history, and get estimated next-cycle predictions.
- Social Feed— A neighbourhood pet feed for sharing moments, following local owners, and discovering pets in your area.
- Push Notifications— Real-time alerts for new matches, messages, adoption requests, lost pet alerts, and care reminders.
Phase 2: Polish & Growth
Refining the core experience, expanding discovery, and adding the features most requested by early users.
- Vet Discovery & Booking— Find nearby veterinary clinics, view profiles and specialties, and book appointments directly in the app.
- Pet Marketplace (Store)— Multi-vendor shop for pet food, accessories, and health products — already scaffolded, in final testing.
- Video Meet-and-Greet— In-app video recordings and virtual introductions for adoption and fostering before committing.
- Pet-Friendly Places Map— Crowdsourced map of pet-friendly cafes, parks, hotels, and beaches powered by Geoapify.
- Microchip Registry Integration— Link your pet's microchip number directly in-app for instant identification if they go missing.

The long-term vision — a fully unified global platform for every aspect of animal welfare and pet ownership.
- Vet CRM & Clinic Sync— Two-way sync between the app and vet clinic systems — appointments, records, and prescriptions in one place.
- Digital Pet Passports— Portable, verifiable pet identity and medical history — shareable with any vet, shelter, or border authority worldwide.
- Community Governance— Formal user-led product decisions — token-based voting and transparent development priorities.
